view command

The view BASIC program displays a single item in a full screen window. This is useful when a user wants to display an item without editing it.

Syntax

view file.name item-ID

CAUTION:

The view command is not an AQL command.

Only one item can be viewed at a time.
Some of the Update processor keystrokes are not emulated.
Items with tabs are not displayed properly.
Multiple values and multiple subvalues are not displayed in the most useful manner.

Displays the view program. Press H for keyboard help.
