# summation() function

The summation() function returns the
sum of a list of numbers delimited by attribute, value, or subvalue
marks.

## Syntax

```
 summation(str.exp)
```

## Parameter(s)

| str.exp | List of numbers, delimited by attribute, value, or subvalue marks, from which the sum is calculated. |
| --- | --- |

## Description

If different orders of marks
are present, the summation() function adds the
contents of all fields regardless of the delimiter.

## Example(s)

In this example the result is `6.2`.
